Stream of consciousness

As I write this, Joe Paterno is near death. God bless his soul.

I think he has been treated horribly by the board of trustees of the school. Joe is not the criminal. He was the football coach. He wasn’t the one who granted Sandusky access to the facilities. He did what most people would have done, given what he was told.

I doubt that the truth of the whole matter will ever be known. I do know that board of trustees is guilty as hell. They knew of inappropriate behavior long before the story surfaced, and they did nothing. I hope they are examined under a microscope and dealt with accordingly.

I have lost a ton of respect for Penn State because of their handling of this whole incident.
